## Basic Fractions – 21 – 22

4th graders at St. Ann learned to measure ingredients to show they understand basic fractions and how to add basic fractions. They made slime by measuring with 1 cup, 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 measuring cups. They labeled each measuring cup, then they added fractions when they doubled the recipe.

## Baby Animals – 21 – 22

After reading, "Baby Animals," kindergarten classes from St. Ann and All Saints Academy wrote a reflection. The students chose to write about a bay animal they would like to get.

4th graders at St. Ann are practicing equivalent fractions on the board by drawing pies that represent the fractions. Students are also adding fractions on the board and rechecking their partners math.
