Ms. Korman-Jacquin’s 2nd grade class read “All About Honeybees”, LLI Green/Lesson 99.  As a way to introduce main idea, Ms. Korman-Jacquin  wrote out a main idea statement for each section of the book.  As they read each section, they selected which main idea went with the section. Then the students painted pictures to go with each section of the book.
