Ms. Cannon’s Kindergarten class at Immaculate Conception in Jackson, MO  built sentences using high frequency words and pictures on small paper strips.  After building their sentences, they did a “carousel” where they walk around and read each other’s sentences.  Before returning to the spot, they “mess up” a sentence that belonged to another student and they have to return and fix it.
