In math at Agape Academy in St. Louis, 3rd and 4th grade students were learning some Geometry Concepts.  We were discussing dimensional and dimensional objects, lines of symmetry, how many vertices/faces and what constitutes a cube, cone, sphere, and cylinder.

The objective for this assignment was to identify what type of shape it is and then identify how many faces it has.  Students chose to make either a sphere, cube, or cone and then, colored, cut and glued.

Together their 3-D shape.  Then, students discussed the shape they chose, why they chose it and identified the number of vertices and faces.
